That I have never heard of her is strange , but true . Her crisp tailored designs were popiular in the 40's , she was inducted into the Coty Hall of Fame in '59 . She created jewelry , two fragrances and was awarded a plaque on 7th Avenue's Fashion Walk of Fame . The parfum , simply called Pauline Trigere , is a classic chypre , with soft floral nuances . It leaps from the vial , with little sweetness , tons of chypre charm . Soon it relaxes a little and allows the ylang and jasmine to come forward . The vetiver is there , but beautifully blended and not too severe . This is a confident woman with a long stride , somewhere to go . She might be soft hearted , but she doesn't show it !
