tte , semi-dry Nars lipsticks that stay on forever , no shine , no shimmer...Nothing slippery that disappears in two seconds , needs " re-application..."
But this has almost converted me ! The color is more berry toned than my usual brick red or coral , and it has SILVER shimmer . I would have guessed at first glance too cool for this jewel . But gosh it is lovely !

, my spinning wheel in the background and my giant potted rose mary ( I brought it in to trim and use some , dry some more....the tiny basil seedlings in the greenhouse ...The poinsettias are not nearly as gorgeous in the greenhouse this year ,they got infested with some nasty pests and I almost killed them , but they are coming back .What are some of your favorite lipsticks ?
Mine are NARS , as I said , especially First Bite and Petit Monstre ,. Last time I was in NYC I tried an INGLOT lipstick in a pinky-peach color #171 .

I LOVE the Cle de Peau lipstick you sent, along with some of those other beauties. But I cannot buy expensive stuff (deep budgeting here) so I have learned to love both Revlon's Matte and Colorburst lipsticks - they stay on good - the Colorburst is also quite moisturizing. I also love Maybelline's SuperStay lipstuff - stays on FOREVER which is great work during the work day but it is quite drying.

Hi Carol! Right now I love Tarte lipstain in envy (matte) on my bare (moisturized)lip with Chanel Rogue Coco Shine in "Boy" over the top. For me, it's a perfect shade and texture that way and it seems to last about four hours or so.
