Gucci eau de parfum 1

Created in 1974 by none other than Guy Robert , Gucci No 1 is a vintage chypre with a bright yet lush floral heart . The aldehydes give it a sunny disposition and sillage to spare , the heart is full of green and dry florals , the base is understated , slightly powdery and very light handed . This is all about the flowers , but they are far from girly . This is all woman .
I have owned at least a dozen of the .25 oz mini bottles , bought them at discount malls for years whenever I could find them . But now , thanks to my dear antique- hunter friend Chris I own a full one ounce bottle .

top- aldehydes, bergamot, lemon, geranium, hyacinth, green notes and rose wood
heart - carnation, heliotrope, jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, neroli, ylang-ylang, lilac, orchid and iris
base - patchouli, amber, oakmoss, benzoin, cedar, musk, sandalwood, vetiver, vanilla and tonka bean.
