French Cancan

Hautes Jambes (French Cancan Series)Media: Ink on paper. H. 30cm by W. 20cm

1936 pre-war excess .
Caron felt they needed to release a fragrance for the American market and they named it French Cancan...(?)
When my decants arrived from The Perfmed Court , this was the one I knew I would love , and I do .
Notes: jasmine, lilac, violet, lily of the valley, rose, orange blossom, patchouli, iris, sandalwood, amber, oakmoss.

The swish of silk , a sigh , the missed chance of a stolen kiss , a flash of thigh....whispers in the dark , and the sound of slippers running down the hall....

that bottle is gorgeous. SO understated, so french, I think I want it just for the bottle :) I liked Can-Can. Ebay time!
